  • How do I register for a class?

  You may register by phone, simply call our studio at 828-524-5676, we will sign you up over the phone or message us on Facebook at The Dusty Pallet.

  • Do You Have a Minimum and What is Your Maximum? 

For all events such as private events, corporate events, ,public venues, etc. our minimum is 6 guests, our maximum is 18.   For Kid's parties minimum is 6 and maximum is 10

  • Do I have to pre register?  
   Yes.  Matt sketches almost all canvas prior to the party. 
What is included in the price?

Everything! We provide everything you will need for the class: 16" x 20" canvas, paint, brushes, easels and aprons. We even clean up after you are done!

  • What is Your Cancellation Policy/Refund Policy/Rescheduling Policy? 

We understand unexpected things pop up and things happen beyond our control.  Life Happens and we understand.  If you just need to reschedule your private party that is fine.  Just let us know as soon as possible as other parties may have wanted your date.  If you cancel then we will give you credit towards a future paint party.   There is a $35.00 deposit on all private events.  There are no refunds for "no shows" on the day of the event. 

  • Do You Have a Weather Policy?

We understand mother nature does not always play nice.  If there is inclement weather the day of a reserved paint party we will check with the host and make sure we both mutually agree upon cancelling said event.  The safety of our guests is priority number one.  We will work on rescheduling your party for a future date of your choosing.

  • Can I bring a snack or beverage?

Private party you may bring your beverage of choice.  Open parties you many bring tea, coffee, or soft drinks.  We provide water.

  • What time do I need to arrive for a class?

15 minutes before class. We do start the class ON TIME. There is parking on Main Street as well as behind our studio.  

  • How long is a class?

Depending on the painting/painter, most classes run 2 to 2 1/2 hours and cost $35 for white canvas and $45.00 for black canvas and wood.

  • What should I wear to sessions?

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes to every session. We supply aprons for protection against water-based acrylic paint that we use. These paints become water-resistant when they dry, so roll your sleeves up!

  • May I bring a non-painting guest to class to watch me while I paint?

No, sorry. This is a “hands-on” activity. Matt needs you to follow step by step. One person per canvas.

  • Do you offer Gift Cards?

YES! Gift cards are available and make great gifts for any occasion.

  • Will my painting be dry enough to take home?

Yes. We have hair dryers for all to use to ensure they are dry.

  • Do you offer frames?

Yes.  We have frames for the 16x20 canvas for $25.00, built by a local resident/best friend.

  • Other important information:

During the session, we reserve the right to take photos. These may be used on our social media sites. If you do not want your picture taken for these purposes, please let us know, we want to respect your privacy. Feel free to take your own pics and share on your social media!

  • Punch Tickets?

Every paying person receives a punch ticket for their paid party spot. After 5 spots are punched your 6th one is free.  Please note that you must let us know if you are using your free spot when you book your spot. If you do not let us know on reserving you will not be able to use your free spot on this painting.  There are some limited paintings (AKA for example the red truck)  that you will not be able to use your free punch card, paint your pet. 

  • Are You Mobile?

Yes.  We will travel to your location or event.  CAll us for the offsite paint parties.
